New China was founded

On October 1, 1949, the Central People's Government of the People's Republic of China was established. Prior to this, the first plenary session of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference was held from September 21st to 30th. The meeting adopted the “Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Common Program” as a provisional constitution. 2:00 p.m. on October 1, the Central People's Government Committee held its first meeting. At 3:00 p.m., the Ceremony to Celebrate the Establishment of the Central People's Government of the People's Republic of China was held in Tiananmen Square, Beijing, and Chairman Mao Zedong proclaimed the establishment of the Central People's Government.
